Are you letting your audience take the lead or failing to ask for consent?

Many potentially longstanding business relationships have been cut short when a business comes on too strong, makes assumptions and fails to give choices to its prospects. So, how do you let your audience take things at their own pace?

The key is having content that aligns with their journey stage. If they’re not ready to make contact but want to learn more, provide videos and guides that give them what they want until they’re ready to take things further.

Next are you certain your audience wants to hear from you as much as they do, and in the way they do? Why not give email contacts options to select the frequency and topics they receive from you.

And finally, if a contact hasn’t opened your email in 6 months, they’re ghosting you, remove them from your list and move on – you’re better off without them!

Next week is a new month and we’re revisiting marketing measurements.
