What is the Ideal Marketing Minute?

A weekly email that asks a key question about your marketing and business that you can review in under a minute.

Each email includes:

  1. A link to a video which is under a minute long.
  2. Accompanying text in case you’re not in a place to watch the video.
  3. Links to helpful follow-on resources if you want to delve deeper.

We don’t just ask the question and leave you hanging! If you want to delve further into a subject, you can, as we will provide action steps and links to resources.

Why only a minute?

We’ve reworked our email to be very easy to digest and to focus your time on the most important points to consider.

Why? We know there is a wealth of information on marketing and you could spend all day, every day, reading through guides and watching videos while making no difference to your business! It can be hard to know where to start and if you’re a business owner or marketing is one of your many responsibilities, it’s not always easy to find the time.

After all, if you can’t find a minute a week to watch a video – what hope is there?

Monthly themes

Each month has a theme which is either based on a seasonal concern (e.g. January is planning month) or cornerstone content (e.g. marketing measurements, messaging and marketing channels). To help keep you focused between emails, we’ve also created Desktop Backgrounds which follow these themes, include the questions and actions for the month, and are the perfect companion to the Ideal Marketing Minute.


How do I catch up?

You can join the weekly emails at any point in the year, but if you’re worried you’ve missed some valuable content, you can view previous emails here.

Will the same content repeat every year?

While we’ll repeat the themes, we’ll work to improve resources and insights year on year. The emails are centred around core marketing concepts, and it can take a few tries for people to perfect any marketing area.
