In a world full of sales pitches and ads, standing out means giving strategically before selling. Real connections happen when you offer value without undervaluing your service, it can be hard to strike the right balance though so here are three ways to provide value while maintaining your worth:
Share practical solutions
Offer a guide or tutorial that solves a common low-level problem for your audience. This shows you understand their needs and highlights your expertise without undercutting the value of your core product.
Provide tools or resources
Share a checklist, template, or resource to simplify a task. These tools give your audience a glimpse of your expertise. They also repeatedly expose people to your brand while they use the tools and build engagement with your brand without lowering perceived value.
Tell relatable stories
Share customer stories that resonate with your audience’s struggles or goals. You probably already know that case studies help build trust and confidence. They also help potential customers see how they can go from where they are now to where they want to be via your product or service.
Giving value upfront builds trust, positions you as an expert, and opens the door to meaningful conversations about your offerings—all while preserving your brand’s integrity.
Next week we’ll look at nurturing relationships through consistency.
