Could segmentation make your email marketing efforts more effective?

If you regularly send marketing emails, segmentation can boost engagement, open rates, and customer relationships. So what are your segmentation options in email marketing? Here are some ways to get started:

Provide options on sign-up – Start segmentation by letting your audience choose what they receive. Depending on your company and content, offer choices on how often they hear from you and the subjects covered. If you have multiple venues, let them choose which one they hear about.

Behaviour-based segmentation allows you to create segments and email people based on actions like opening specific emails or a number of emails, clicking links, or interacting with your website.

Survey-based segmentation – send a poll to your list to ask about their preferences.
