Do you measure the effectiveness of your messaging?
Even if you feel like you’ve infused what your ideal customer wants in your messaging, the same messaging won’t work for everybody and with different marketing channels the messaging needs to change, so it’s a good idea to test what works.
Here are some measurements that you can use:
For your website, any landing page or sales pages, you want to set-up conversion tracking so that you can see conversion rates on those pages.
For social media, you want to track engagement; things like comments, reach, and shares are all good indicators.
With email marketing, the open rate will be a good indicator of how well your subject is performing, whereas click-through rates will tell you how the rest of your email is working.
