Do you have the ingredients you need for a great sales page?
Writing a sales page means taking your audience on a journey where by the end of it, they’re sure that they can get the result they want at an acceptable level of risk, and they’re clear about the next steps and their commitment. So include the following in your sales pages:
- The benefits, not just the features of your product or service and ultimately, what results can they expect.
- Any case studies, guarantees, testimonials, awards and qualifications will help reduce perceived risk and increase trust in what you offer.
- The details of exactly what’s included, sometimes a walk-through video, a demo or even a trial, are needed to reduce any remaining doubt.
- A call to action that’s a small enough first step that they’re willing to take the leap.
Next week: how do you measure the effectiveness of your messaging?
