When the pandemic hit in March 2020, like many businesses, all staff at The Ideal Marketing Company started working from home. Nearly a year on from these circumstances that were initially forced on us and so many others overnight, and after carefully weighing up the pros and cons, we have decided to make this move permanent. And the good news is that our customers shouldn’t notice any change in the quality and range of marketing services that we are able to offer.
Looking to the future
After some periods of furlough in the summer of 2020, our team returned to their usual hours in October 2020. Indeed despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, nearly a month into 2021, we are busy and doing well with much to look forward to in terms of varied and interesting work with both new and existing clients in the year ahead.
The team are accessible in the usual ways and thanks to the technology at our disposal, we are able to work efficiently and successfully, both as a team and with our clients, remotely. Of course, we are also very much looking forward to spending more time working together and seeing our clients in person when Covid restrictions ease and this is possible. So, to that end we will have a meeting space available to use, or of course we will also be happy to meet our clients or visit them at their places of work.
Business as usual
As for all businesses, the last year has been one like no other here at Ideal Marketing. “This time last year, none of us could have foreseen the challenges that lay ahead,” says Ideal Marketing’s MD Jess Shailes. “However, like so many other businesses we know, can look back at the past 10 months and feel proud of the way we have not only adapted to the changes that Covid has forced on us but evolved and emerged stronger and more resilient than ever. Indeed, making this decision to commit to remote working means we are in a strong position to flourish now and we will be in a far more agile position when facing any future challenges.”
