Is your social media marketing working?
We often get this question when people are expecting brand new customers from their organic social media efforts, but that’s not really the best place for social media in your marketing funnel. Although it can generate new enquiries it’s best for:
- Maintaining a relationship
- Keeping you top of mind
- Helping to convince somebody to buy
- Encouraging someone to become a repeat customer
Once you know this, your content can be made more effective and your results, measurements and expectations will change too.
Paid social media on the other hand can be a great way to target an audience, get new eyeballs on your business and it’s best used at the top of the marketing funnel.
