Are you neglecting your business relationships and could you show a little bit more love?

This month it’s February, the month of love with valentines halfway through, and whether or not you feel like valentines is over-commercialised hype, it does remind us to show gratitude and appreciation for those that we care about.

Business is based on relationships, whether that’s with your clients, your suppliers or your team members, and it can be helpful to show and even ask for appreciation at times. So how could you send a business-appropriate version of a valentines card this month? I’m talking testimonials on Google, Yelp, Tripadvisor, maybe bigging somebody up on LinkedIn with an endorsement or a post, or just sending a note to a team member saying how much you appreciate the hard work they’ve been doing recently.

My challenge to you this month is to share a little love in a business-appropriate way, that I’m sure will be appreciated. Next week we will be continuing the theme of business relationships and talking about how to nurture your audience.
