Two marketing seminars held in January and March 2013 have raised over £3,000 for LOROS hospice.
Run by Alastair Campbell of The Ideal Marketing Company, The ‘Going for Growth in 2013’ seminar was held at The Waterfront restaurant in Market Harborough.
Alastair was inspired to raise funds for LOROS when a family friend received treatment there in 2011. He also run the London Marathon in April to raise funds for the hospice, which is financed solely by donations.
“LOROS is such a fantastic community service which receives no funding from the taxpayer,” comments Alastair. “It’s one of those services that you hope you will never need, and it’s only when a friend or loved one uses the hospice that you really appreciate the invaluable work that the staff do there.”
“The seminar has been designed with the small to medium business owner in mind and is full of practical advice and tips,” adds Alastair who is the MD of The Ideal Marketing Company which was set up in 2003 and provides PR, social media and marketing services for a range of SMEs across the Midlands. He has also had two marketing books published and regularly speaks at business events and training courses.
