So your customers want your product—job done, right? Not quite! People don’t buy everything they want, so here are some ways to encourage customers to convert:
Make the first step easy and low risk: If your main product or service seems like a big commitment, offer a taster first.
Provide a clear call to action (CTA): Ensure your CTA is prominent and directs the user on the next step. Phrases like “Buy Now,” “Sign Up Today,” or “Get Started” are effective and straightforward.
Simplify the process: Minimise the steps needed to complete the action. A complicated or lengthy process can deter customers from following through.
Provide incentives: Offer deals, discounts, or bonuses for immediate action. Limited time offers or one-time deals can create urgency.
Follow-up: If a customer hesitates or abandons their cart, send reminder emails or retargeting ads to encourage completion.
Next week, we cover loyalty and retention, the final phase rarely discussed.
