Fancy a film under the stars?
Ideal’s newest client Marston Lodge in Marston Trussell is hosting the very first Film on a Farm event in Northants on Saturday 26th May – and you’re invited!
The film being shown is popular romantic comedy Notting Hill, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant, screened in a field with wonderful rural views. So, bring picnic blankets, rugs and camping chairs and get comfy. VIP deckchairs can also be booked in advance.
What you need to know:
- Tickets cost £15 per person
- Free parking on site
- Refreshments and a fully licensed bar will be available
- Doors open at 7pm with the film starting around 9pm as the sun sets.

*Notting Hill has a PG-13 certificate so is only suitable for those aged 13 and above. All those below the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The event will be donating a proportion of ticket sales to the local air ambulance service “This charity does vital life-saving work across Leicestershire, Rutland, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire yet doesn’t receive a penny of government funding” says Chris Thresh, Estate Manager at Marston Lodge Farm. “It’s also a very important emergency service for people living in the countryside, Because of this, we want to our bit to help keep this important service going.”
Marston Lodge is a working farm and outdoor activity venue with facilities for running, cycling and equestrian.
“As home to the tough Reebok Spartan race, we are well-established as an outdoor venue,” adds Chris. “With Film on a Farm, we look forward to adding another string to our bow by offering a fantastic summer night out under the stars.”
