Run time: 1 Minute

When was the last time you added something to your marketing to make your value clearer? A new bullet point, an extra service, another line on the website?

It’s a natural instinct. When we want to show how much we can do, we add more. But more often creates confusion rather than clarity. And confused customers rarely become buyers.

This week we’re looking at a simple idea: the strongest marketing isn’t the fullest, it’s the clearest. True clarity comes from stripping back to the core of your value, cutting the fluff, and highlighting only what genuinely matters to the people you want to attract.

Here’s a quick test you can try today. Ask someone you network with regularly to describe, in a couple of sentences, who you help and how. If they can do it easily, that’s a great sign. If they can’t, your message may need to be simplified.

Not sure what your core value actually is, or worried you’re cutting the wrong things? That’s exactly what our Customer Value Scope is designed to uncover.
