It’s something that we have never done before but this week we decided to take on an apprentice. The process was far smoother than we thought it would be and (touch wood) we are delighted to have taken on Katrina with a view to train her up over the next 12 months into a full time member of staff.

If you are thinking about doing the same we’d recommend speaking to Sarah from Salad Skills who helped with every stage of the process including running the recruitment day itself which was a lot more than simply job interviews. It involved various interactive games and putting the candidates through some challenging activities.

The result was seeing the best person for the role – not just the best person at and interview.  If we decided to take on another apprentice we’d certainly use Sarah at Salad Skills again.
